Last night’s Four Corners story on Internet crime included two old tracks of mine from the 1996 Clan Analogue compilation CD Jaunt. Whenever they wanted to represent the bad hackers, there was my music. Bizarre!

Here are the tracks:

Wake Up and Listen - Creased Anxiety (edit)
(192kbps, 1′13″, 1.67MB)

Shannon O’Neill - Dry Dub (192kbps, 6′57″, 9.56MB)

Creased Anxiety (edit) is from a WUAL live to air, improvised performance from 1995. Adrian played bass guitar, synth and drum machine. I played tapes, mix and sampling keyboard (ASR-10) sampling the whole mix live and messing around with it.

Dry Dub is a studio recording from 1996 which I’ve been meaning to podcast here. It was inspired by a TV advertisement for incontinence pants. Kate Crawford of B(if)tek fame played synth bass (Roland SH-101) on this track. We were making music together at that time under the name Undermind, and also had a track (Test Pattern) on Jaunt.

Thanks to whomever at Four Corners for using these tracks!
